About the Role

We are a fast-growing product company building scalable, cloud-native platforms used by global customers. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, platform reliability, and automation ecosystem.

You will work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to design resilient systems, optimize cloud costs, and accelerate feature delivery through automation. This role demands strong Kubernetes and Terraform expertise, operational excellence, and the ability to leverage AI tools such as GPT and Claude to improve engineering velocity.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Infrastructure Ownership

• Architect and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters

• Design scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform

• Build reusable infrastructure modules and enforce IaC best practices

• Drive high availability, performance optimization, and disaster recovery strategies

CI/CD & Developer Productivity

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases

• Implement GitOps and automated deployment strategies

• Enable self-service infrastructure for development teams

• Improve developer productivity using AI tools (GPT, Claude) for automation, documentation, scripting, and incident resolution

Cloud Operations & Reliability

• Monitor and improve system uptime, latency, and reliability (SLO/SLA driven)

• Implement observability frameworks (metrics, logs, traces)

• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes

• Optimize cloud usage and implement cost governance (FinOps mindset)

Security & Compliance

• Implement DevSecOps practices across pipelines

• Manage IAM, network security, and access controls

• Enforce security policies across Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure

Required Technical Skills

• 4+ years of DevOps / Platform Engineering experience in product environments

• Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (production scale)

• Advanced Terraform experience (modular design, state management, remote backends)

• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP in production environments

• CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

• Containerization expertise (Docker, Helm, image optimization)

• Monitoring & observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloud-native tools)

• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)

• Deep understanding of networking, load balancing, IAM, and cloud security

AI-Driven Engineering (Must Have)

• Hands-on experience using AI tools like GPT and Claude for:

  • Infrastructure code generation

  • Automation scripting

  • Troubleshooting production issues

  • Documentation and runbook creation

  • Optimizing CI/CD workflows

• Ability to design effective prompts for engineering use cases

• Mindset to integrate AI into daily DevOps workflows

Soft Skills

• Excellent English communication (written and verbal)

• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile product teams

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD)

• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux)

• Experience building internal developer platforms

• Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS architecture
