🚀 Principal Full-Stack Engineer

We’re looking for a Principal Full-Stack Engineer who can own systems end-to-end, make architectural decisions, and raise the engineering bar.

You’ll work directly with the founder/CTO, ship to production fast, and help define how the product and platform evolve.

This is a hands-on IC role, not people management.

What You’ll Do

• Own and design backend systems (APIs, data pipelines, async workers)

• Build AI-powered workflows for document extraction and compliance checks

• Develop user-facing features using React / Next.js

• Make architectural trade-offs across speed, scale, and correctness

• Improve reliability, observability, and production quality

• Review critical PRs and mentor other engineers

• Debug real production issues and prevent them from happening again

Tech Stack

• Backend: Python, FastAPI, async workers (Celery/Redis)

• Frontend: React, Next.js

• DB: PostgreSQL

• AI: LLMs (OpenAI / Gemini / Claude), structured extraction, agent workflows

• Infra: Cloud-native, Docker, CI/CD, modern observability tools

What We’re Looking For

Must have

• 8+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong experience with Python backend systems

• Strong experience with React / modern frontend

• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and data modeling

• Experience owning production systems end-to-end

• Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs / AI systems in production

• Background in document processing, PDFs, OCR, or compliance-heavy domains

• Startup or early-stage experience

• Insurance / fintech / regulated industry exposure
