Job Title: Network Support Engineer

1. Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network hardware, software installations, troubleshooting, and IT support across data and voice networks.

1. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software including servers, workstations, projectors, etc.
• Administer and support network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, and VPN.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data and voice network faults.
• Provide technical guidance to internal IT teams and train new staff on IT systems.
• Recommend and plan future IT infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain and support data center systems, proxy servers, Syslog servers, etc.
• Handle IT helpdesk/ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

1. Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in IT support for data and voice networks.
• Proficient in Windows, Unix/Linux systems, and basic scripting.
• Strong knowledge of switching and routing techniques.
• Experience in data center maintenance and network administration.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

1. Good to Have:

• IT Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Experience with Syslog, firewall configurations, and VPN setup.

1. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT or related stream.
• Relevant certifications in networking or systems administration (preferred).

Salary Range: As per industry standards
