Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs. • Implement robust data structures for secure and efficient data management. • Implement and enforce database security policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms. • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. • Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices in software development. • Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and system security at both the application and infrastructure levels. • Participate in code reviews and agile development workflows. • Contribute to building and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality. • Apply queuing and caching systems to improve application responsiveness. • Design and architect algorithms for scalable and secure systems from the ground up. • Build, manage, and integrate internal and external APIs. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance. • Design secure, optimized SQL database architectures focused on data integrity, availability, and performance. • Develop efficient database schemas, optimize queries, and implement indexing strategies. • Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and migrations. • Optimize database queries and resolve performance issues in collaboration with the team. • Stay updated on emerging database technologies and industry trends. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Strong knowledge of Node.js is required. Proficiency in other languages like Python, Go, Ruby, or PHP is a plus. • 2–4 years of experience in backend development or related areas. • Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. • Experience with containerization and cloud platforms such as Docker, AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. • Effective communicator with proficiency in written and spoken English. • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
