About the role

Elevation AI is building agentic AI systems that actually ship. not demos. We’re looking for a Technical Manager to lead our Chennai based Solutions engineering team and scale it from a tight, high caliber team into a world class delivery engine.

This is a hands on leadership role where you’ll shape architecture, raise engineering standards, and drive predictable delivery for enterprise clients and internal stakeholders. You’ll have direct influence on our technical direction and a clear path to expanded scope as the team scales.

What you’ll do

• Lead and grow the team: Coach and mentor a high performance team through 1:1s, hiring, onboarding, and career development. Scale the group from 6 to 20 plus engineers while maintaining a high bar.
• Own technical direction: Architect and review agent based workflows using orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI. Build production grade LLM systems with strong quality practices.
• Deliver consistently: Own the Solutions delivery roadmap. turn ambiguous goals into crisp plans, manage dependencies, and ship on time.
• Build engineering excellence: Establish standards for code quality, testing, observability, and reusable components. minimize chaos and avoid heroics through clear ownership and lightweight documentation.
• Partner across teams and clients: Act as a technical point of contact in key client moments. translate complex AI concepts into measurable outcomes. Collaborate across time zones with our US team. flexible overlap hours required.

What we’re looking for

• 7 to 10 years in software engineering, with meaningful depth in applied AI and LLM systems
• Strong fluency in Python, GitHub, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases
• Proven track record scaling teams in a high growth environment. raising the bar while moving fast
• Strong systems thinking and judgment. you build platforms and reusable components, not one off scripts
• Clear communicator who can drive decisions and execution
