Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations that support our utility payment and customer engagement platforms.

 The Python Developer will be a part of Global Information Technology Team at Exceleron Software and will primarily have responsibilities over the creation and maintenance of company-owned applications, Interfaces.

 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work on high-performance, secure, and reliable payment and utility systems
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (payment gateways, data systems, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and frontend developers
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
• Work on cloud-based deployments and distributed systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Python development
• Strong experience with frameworks like Django / Flask / FastAPI
• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fintech, payments, or utility domain
• Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with data processing and analytics systems
• Exposure to scalable SaaS platforms
