Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership of building and scaling an enterprise-grade cloud platform designed for regulated environments. The role involves working closely with leadership to define technical architecture, build a production-ready platform, and establish engineering standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can design systems, build scalable solutions, and lead engineering execution from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Development

• Design and build a production-grade cloud platform with staging and production environments.
• Define and implement scalable system architecture in collaboration with leadership.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

Enterprise Platform Foundations

• Implement modern authentication and SSO integration.
• Design multi-tenant architecture and RBAC/permissions systems.
• Establish audit logging and traceability mechanisms.
• Implement observability tools including logging, metrics, and tracing.

Infrastructure & DevOps

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Create repeatable environments using infrastructure automation.
• Ensure secure defaults and best practices for deployment and operations.

AI & Integration Enablement

• Design integration patterns for AI/ML model endpoints and external services.
• Implement configurable governance controls and monitoring capabilities.
• Ensure flexibility for integration with multiple vendor tools.

Engineering Leadership

• Define engineering standards including code reviews, testing practices, and documentation.
• Lead technical decision-making and roadmap execution.
• Support hiring and mentoring engineers as the team grows.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering production web platforms end-to-end.
• Proven full-stack development experience (frontend + backend APIs).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of security, reliability, performance, and testing practices.
• Ability to convert ambiguous requirements into scalable architecture and execution plans.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building systems for regulated or enterprise environments (FinTech, HealthTech, Government, Enterprise SaaS).
• Strong knowledge of:
• Identity and SSO frameworks
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture
• Permissions and audit logging patterns
• Experience integrating AI/ML services into production applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation.
• Previous experience hiring or mentoring engineers.

Success Criteria (First 90 Days)

• Deliver a stable cloud deployment pipeline with repeatable releases.
• Establish enterprise-grade security, permissions, and observability foundations.
• Define a clear and scalable platform architecture.
• Create a technical roadmap enabling enterprise deployments and future team growth.
