Prayaan Capital is an AI-native NBFC (RBI-registered, Peak XV-backed) building lending infrastructure for small businesses in India. We're hiring a Backend + Data Engineer to join an early, small engineering team in Bangalore.

What you'll build:

• Origination workflows, KYC orchestration, payment and collections APIs in Node.js (NestJS) or Java
• ETL pipelines: operational DB → S3 data lake → feature store, orchestrated via Airflow
• Kafka event producers for business and payment events
• CDC via Debezium from CockroachDB/PostgreSQL

3–6 years experience. Strong SQL and REST API fundamentals required. Kafka, Airflow, Debezium experience a bonus. ₹20–25L, Bangalore.

Small team means you own what you build end-to-end. Direct mentorship from an experienced CTO.
